Whitehorse Badminton Club is a friendly, relaxed badminton club, with playing venues in both Royal Wootton Bassett and Swindon, in Wiltshire. For the more competitive players, a variety of mens, ladies, mixed and veterans teams are spread throughout the Swindon & District League. We play on Tuesday nights (8:00pm-10pm) at the Lime Kiln Leisure Centre in Royal Wootton Bassett, and on a Thursday night (8:00pm-10:00pm) at St Joseph's Catholic College, Ocotal Way, Swindon. Pre-Covid, we also operated from Lime Kiln on Wednesday evenings and hope to go back to doing so soon! We cater for all standards of player - from the near-complete beginner to the experienced league player - and maintain an active social scene away from the court. We have a number of qualified coaches in our ranks - but we also benefit from a professional coach who runs regular sessions away from club nights, focussed on improving the playing standard of everyone. We also have a junior club run by qualified, CRB-checked, coaches from 6-8pm at Lime Kiln on Fridays, during term-time.
